Dinner at the Restaurant EGALITAS

Egalitas is a temporary restaurant organized by the Posticum cultural center, for young people with disabilities. They will prepare food and serve the dishes to the guests, while they are coordinated by qualified personnel.

Registration for the dinner can be made until June 06, 12 noon by filling this form:

*Recommended donation for the menu: 50 RON / pers

By donating for the menu, you support social integration activities of young people with various disabilities.

This project offers young people the chance to get to know the life of a restaurant's rules and prove that they can achieve much more than society thinks they are able to.

The project is launched in partnership with A.D.O.R (Asociația Down ORADEA) and Asociația Pentru Copii Și Tineri Cu Dizabilități Bonitas

The restaurant welcomes everybody, who's interested in the substantial progress of these youngsters with special needs!

Your donation supports young people with special needs and the social inclusion activities organised for them.

The Egalitas Restaurant project offers young people the opportunity to learn the rules of a restaurant, to show how they can cope in this environment and to become full members of society.

The project is a collaboration between A.D.O.R (Down's Association ORADEA), Bonitas Association for Children and Young People with Disabilities and Posticum Association.

The restaurant welcomes all those interested in the social inclusion of young people with special educational needs.

Egalitas este un restaurant temporar organizat de centrul cultural Posticum pentru tineri cu dizabilități. Aceștia vor pregăti mâncarea și vor servi masa oaspeților, în timp ce sunt coordonați de personal calificat.

Înscrierile la cină se pot face până pe 6 aprilie, ora 12:00, completând acest formular:

Prin donație sprijiniți tinerii cu nevoi speciale și activitățile de integrare socială organizate pentru ei.

Acest proiect oferă tinerilor șansa de a cunoaște regulile unui restaurant și de a demonstra că pot realiza mult mai mult decât crede societatea că sunt capabili.

Proiectul este lansat în parteneriat cu A.D.O.R (Asociația Down ORADEA) și Asociația Pentru Copii Și Tineri Cu Dizabilitati Bonitas.

Restaurantul îi așteaptă pe toți cei care sunt interesați de progresul substanțial al acestor tineri cu nevoi speciale!

The Zen Hostel invites every tea lover for a Ping Cha tea ceremony, which is a traditional ceremony in China. Ping cha is the ceremony that is needed for communication, business meetings and often for meditation. If you want to see and plunge into the atmosphere of one of the traditional activities of China, you are welcome to the teahouse of Posticum. The event is free, we are happy to receive donations. Program starts at 11 am.

The Zen Hostel welcomes all tea lovers to the Ping Cha tea ceremony, a traditional ceremony in China. Ping Cha is a ritual for communication, business meetings and often meditation. If you would like to see and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of one of China's traditional activities, you are welcome to visit the Posticum Tea House. Participation is free, donations are welcome. The reception starts at 11:00 am.

"Servește pacea și liniștea și siguranța țării"
Presa bisericească a Ungariei pe vremea legilor evreilor (1938-1942)
Opera prezentată este o nouă variantă a unui tratat existent, acum transformat în monografie și extins printr-o culegere de texte, care analizează prezentarea în presă a celor cinci legi referitoare la evrei din perioada 1938-1942. Autorul evaluează această perioadă ca un eșec moral și pierdere a legitimității al bisericilor creștine din Ungaria, deoarece reglementările limitative și privative de drepturi la adresa evreilor, nu a stârnit rezistență din partea bisericilor; în mare parte au fost de acord cu acestea, vrând-nevrând au luat parte la procesul prin care societatea maghiară s-a "acordat pe frecvența" Holocaustului.
Prezentarea va fi compusă din două blocuri a câte 15 minute, în urma ambelor blocuri va avea loc un rezumat de 5 minute în limba română.
Publicul va putea înainta întrebări atât în limba maghiară, cât și în limba română, autorul fiind născut în Transilvania.

The Hungarian Church Press during the Jewish Laws (1938-1942)
Dr. Attila Jakab, historian at the Holocaust Memorial Centre in Budapest, examines the press representation of five Jewish laws from 1938 to 1942.
The author assesses the period as a complete moral bankruptcy and loss of faith of the Christian churches in Hungary, since the restrictive regulations and deprivation of rights imposed on the Jews did not arouse resistance from the churches; they were largely agreed with, and thus contributed, wittingly or unwittingly, to the "attunement" of Hungarian society to the Holocaust.
The presentation consists of 2 x 15-minute blocks in Hungarian, each followed by a 5-minute summary in Romanian.
The audience can ask questions in Romanian and Hungarian.

16 March, 18:00 - C I T E L E P I T S - Reading theatre with Áron Dimény & writer-reader meeting with András Visky

Áron Dimény will read from András Visky's novel, Resettlement, published by Jelenkor, in the Posticum's living room, followed by an informal discussion with András Visky over a cup of fragrant tea. If it gets cool, we'll light the fireplace and let it crackle.
Even those who do not yet have the novel will not be left without a copy: some copies will be available for purchase, but you can also bring your own book to sign.
Go to Posticum. It's also an opportunity to "know and accept each other's realities", to connect, to go from audience to community, every now and then.

The participants will be welcomed with a snack, and after the introductory games, everyone present, regardless of age, can take part in art, relaxation and music sessions.
