Presa bisericeasc\u0103 a Ungariei pe vremea legilor evreilor (1938-1942)<\/div>
Opera prezentat\u0103 este o nou\u0103 variant\u0103 a unui tratat existent, acum transformat \u00een monografie \u0219i extins printr-o culegere de texte, care analizeaz\u0103 prezentarea \u00een pres\u0103 a celor cinci legi referitoare la evrei din perioada 1938-1942. Autorul evalueaz\u0103 aceast\u0103 perioad\u0103 ca un e\u0219ec moral \u0219i pierdere a legitimit\u0103\u021bii al bisericilor cre\u0219tine din Ungaria, deoarece reglement\u0103rile limitative \u0219i privative de drepturi la adresa evreilor, nu a st\u00e2rnit rezisten\u021b\u0103 din partea bisericilor; \u00een mare parte au fost de acord cu acestea, vr\u00e2nd-nevr\u00e2nd au luat parte la procesul prin care societatea maghiar\u0103 s-a \"acordat pe frecven\u021ba\" Holocaustului.<\/div>
Prezentarea va fi compus\u0103 din dou\u0103 blocuri a c\u00e2te 15 minute, \u00een urma ambelor blocuri va avea loc un rezumat de 5 minute \u00een limba rom\u00e2n\u0103.<\/div>
Publicul va putea \u00eenainta \u00eentreb\u0103ri at\u00e2t \u00een limba maghiar\u0103, c\u00e2t \u0219i \u00een limba rom\u00e2n\u0103, autorul fiind n\u0103scut \u00een Transilvania.<\/div>

The Hungarian Church Press during the Jewish Laws (1938-1942)<\/div>
Dr. Attila Jakab, historian at the Holocaust Memorial Centre in Budapest, examines the press representation of five Jewish laws from 1938 to 1942.
The author assesses the period as a complete moral bankruptcy and loss of faith of the Christian churches in Hungary, since the restrictive regulations and deprivation of rights imposed on the Jews did not arouse resistance from the churches; they were largely agreed with, and thus contributed, wittingly or unwittingly, to the \"attunement\" of Hungarian society to the Holocaust.<\/div>
The presentation consists of 2 x 15-minute blocks in Hungarian, each followed by a 5-minute summary in Romanian.
The audience can ask questions in Romanian and Hungarian.<\/div>
